For Scott Collier, music is more than a lyric or a melody - it's about believing, making a statement, connecting, having passion, sharing a feeling, or just making someone smile. Music is and always has been a central part of Scott's life.

Scott began playing and singing at the early age of seven in his hometown of Chillicothe, Ohio. His first gig was playing at Saddie's and Shorty's Country Music Hall for five dollars a song. He continued to play there almost every weekend for the next six years.

At sixteen, Scott started his first band playing Christian rock music. He played both lead and rhythm guitar and sang the lead vocals. The band toured the state playing in churches all over the Ohio area. Three years later, the band started playing their own rock music and performing at fairs, festivals, and nightclubs in Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and all across Indiana.

Scott was most influenced when he heard the music of George Strait and Keith Whitley. He knew that country music was the place he wanted to be. It was during this time that he fomed "Young Guns", a country music band. The little country band reached people throughout the region, which earned Scott the Ohio Country Music Association Entertainer Of The Year Award in 1998. The band stayed together for six years opening up shows for several country music stars like TG Sheppard and Tracy Lawrence.

Scott moved to Nashville in 2001. During this time he would walk the streets of Nashville...day and night...playing music for anyone who would listen.

Finally, Scott got a break with Tootsie's Orchid Lounge down on Broadway - playing regular shows for the crowds. In his years with Tootsie's, Scott has played with numerous country stars like Kid Rock, Montgomery Gentry, Chris Young, Kellie Pickler, and many more. Scott has written songs with some of the top writers in Nashville, including Danny Wells ("These Days" by Rascal Flatts and "Check Yes or No" by George Strait) and Gary Hannan ("Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off"), Marty Brown ("I'm From The Country"). David Chamberlain, Billy Gibbons, and many more.

That little stage at Tootsie's has led to booking shows all over the country, from Alabama to Canada, and from Washington, D.C. to Las Vegas. Scott currently plays 240 shows per year. Scott now has fans and friends from all over the world.
